How many steps can you take? June Holiday challenge 3.
Dear P3 to P6 boys and girls,
This is another June Holiday challenge. How many steps can you take every day?
If you have a step tracker (any brand), or android or ios phone, you can enter how many steps (or distance)you take daily in this Google Form.
1400 steps is approximately 1km.
https://goo.gl/YnzSSZ
We will announce who has taken the most amount of steps in a week.
The results will be published weekly.
These are the qualifying dates.
Week 1 - 29th May to 4th June
Week 2 - 5th June to 11th June
Week 3 - 12th June to 18th June
Week 4 - 19th June to 25th June
The pupil with the most number of steps for each house and level will get 200 points for their house each week.
First place - 200 points.
2nd place - 100 points
The rest of you who have entered the number of steps will get 50 points for your house for participating every week.
Try to aim for 10,000 to 12000 steps a day.
You can use any step tracker if you have one.
If you have a mobile phone, you can use the apps or in built measurement device that measure steps on your android phone and IOS phone (Apple).
You can also download, the healthy 365 app on your phone.
You may also try to download the fitbit app but you will need your parent to set up an account for you. (You do not need the fitbit watch but must use a phone)
You may also want to download a runkeeper app but you will need your parent to set up an account for you.
You may look for me for both fitbit and runkeeper.
My username is familydass.
If you do not have any of the above, don't worry. Keep exercising and fill in the information in your Let's Get Healthy booklet. Try to aim for exercises that are moderate to vigorous in intensity for a total of 60 minutes. Sleep for a minimum of 8 hours and eat healthily.
The teachers' may be participating as well.
Can you take more steps than your teachers?
Don't forget the other two challenges in the posts below. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Questions About the June Holiday Challenges
Dear Pupils,
We are delighted with the interest shown and numbers of questions asked about the June Holiday Challenges. We have decided to come out with a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) segment to ask your common questions.

A: No. Each submission will only entitled to one pupils with the points. However, you may submit the same photo again using your sibling's name for the next submission.
Q: Can I take a photo with my neighbours or friends? Must it be strictly taken with my family members?
A: While we encourage you to stay active and eat healthy with your family during the June holiday, we do not mind if you take the photo with your neighbours or friends. Just enjoy your fruits and veggies and be active!
Q: Can I request NOT to have my photos to be shared on the HWS Health blog?
A: Absolutely. Please include (Do Not Show) after your full name during your submission. (For example, Johnny Ang Wei Hao (Do Not Show).
